A magnetic drill is a machine that travels, and most of the damage it takes happens in the back of a van or on a ladder rather than during drilling. The guide slide, the dovetail way and the feed handle are the parts least tolerant of impact — a single dent in the slide throws off the spindle axis and permanently affects hole squareness. That is why BDS cases are not a general-purpose box but model-specific units coded per machine body, and the choice is made purely by model. ZHK100 covers MAB 100 and MAB 150; ZHK155 MAB 155 and MAB 155 Pro; ZHK350 AutoMAB 350 and AutoMAB 450; ZHK400 MAB 455, MAB 485 and MAB 525; ZHK800 MABasic 850 and MAB 525 SB; ZHK825 MAB 825 and MAB 845; ZHK1300 MAB 1300; and ZHK1500 the MAB 825V, MAB 845V, MAB 1300V and MAB 825 KTS bodies. On the electric tapping side, ZPK1 matches EKF 300.3, EKF 450.3 and EKF 452.3, while ZPK200 matches MABasic 200, MABasic 400 and MABasic 450. The right case also keeps the annular cutters, pilot pin and cutting oil in order beside the machine, so the pre-job check is one case rather than a line-by-line list.
