Advantages

Exact Size, Not Rounded

88 diameters in one-millimetre steps from 12 to 99 mm. You cut the hole size the drawing asks for instead of rounding up.

Life In Hard Material

Carbide teeth keep cutting in high-strength and stainless material, where an HSS cutter goes blunt early.

Mounts Without Adapters

The 19 mm Weldon shank fits straight onto magnetic drills built to that standard — no sleeve, no adapter.

Short Means Stiff

The 30 mm short body is stiffer than the long version of the same diameter, cutting vibration and size deviation.

The first decision when picking a core cutter is the cutting edge material. The BDS HKK series runs carbide (TCT) teeth, so it keeps cutting in high-strength structural steel, stainless and cast iron — the materials that blunt an HSS cutter early. This is the short version: 30 mm cutting depth, meaning wall thicknesses up to 30 mm are cut in a single pass. The connection is a 19 mm Weldon (3/4") shank, which mounts straight onto any magnetic drill using that standard, with no adapter in between. The range runs from Ø12 mm to Ø150 mm across 99 separate sizes — one-millimetre steps from 12 to 99 mm, five-millimetre steps above 100 mm. That step density lets you hit the exact hole size a bolt or a pass-through calls for, instead of rounding up to the next available cutter. Cutters from Ø14 to Ø60 mm use the ZAK 075 ejector pin, which carries coolant into the cutting zone and pushes the slug out when the cut finishes. At the large diameters the limit is the machine, not the cutter: check the drill's maximum cutting diameter and magnetic holding force before ordering. The short body is also stiffer than the long version of the same diameter, so vibration and size deviation stay low on work under 30 mm.
