ApplicationMAB 1300 · MAB 100; Ø 80-250 mm · MAB 825

Advantages

Non-Magnetic Surfaces

Magnets do not hold on stainless, aluminium or cast iron. The vacuum plate is the practical way to fix the machine on those materials.

Full Grip On Pipe

Chains and pipe clamping systems remove the contact-area problem on curved surfaces, covering Ø 80 mm to Ø 500 mm.

Hand Drill Made Fixed

The magnetic column and industrial stand turn a commercial hand drill into a repeatable drilling setup.

Coded Per Machine

Pipe clamping attachments are defined separately for MAB 100, MAB 825/845 and MAB 1300 bodies, so no intermediate part is needed.

Products

Features

  • Ø 300 mm vacuum clamping plates for non-magnetic but smooth surfaces
  • The manual-pump vacuum model needs no electrical supply
  • Pipe clamping attachment for MAB 100, Ø 80–250 mm
  • Pipe clamping system for MAB 1300, Ø 150–500 mm
  • Pipe clamping chain for MAB 825, MAB 845 and MABasic
  • Magnetic column and industrial drill stand for commercial hand drills
  • Prism vice for the industrial stand — holds cylindrical parts on axis
  • Mobilclamp mobile clamping device and collared hex nut

A magnetic drill's holding force depends on two conditions: ferromagnetic material of sufficient thickness, and a clean, flat contact face. If either is missing, the magnet is not the answer. On stainless steel, aluminium and cast iron, magnetic adhesion is either absent or far below nominal; on curved surfaces such as pipe, the contact area is small to begin with. The BDS clamping range fills exactly that gap. Vacuum clamping devices use a Ø 300 mm plate to hold the machine by negative pressure on non-magnetic but smooth surfaces, and the manual-pump model does it without any electrical supply. MABZAV400 is defined for smooth surfaces only and should not be used on painted, rusted or textured faces. On pipe, the clamp follows the machine: MABZRO250 with MAB 100 for Ø 80–250 mm, MABZRO1300 with MAB 1300 for Ø 150–500 mm, and the MABZRO500 chain with MAB 825, MAB 845 and MABasic bodies. The magnetic column and the industrial drill stand turn an ordinary commercial hand drill into a fixed, repeatable drilling setup, and the prism vice for the stand holds cylindrical parts such as pipe and section on axis. The Mobilclamp covers mobile applications, and the collared hex nut is included as a fixing element. The selection rule is simple: first ask whether the surface is magnetic, then whether it is flat or curved.
