REED Extended Sockets are impact‑grade, tool‑steel sockets designed specifically for use with long threaded bolts or rods, making them ideal for tightening hex nuts on repair clamps, mechanical joint fittings, and saddles. These extended sockets are built for daily municipal use with an impact‑grade, hardened tool‑steel design that ensures durability. They can be powered by a ½ inch square‑drive impact wrench or hand‑tightened using the REED SCFR wrench. The zinc and black‑chromate finish provides a durable, corrosion resistant finish for demanding underground environments.
REED offers common municipal socket sizes of 3/4 inch, 7/8 inch, 15/16 inch, 1-1/16 inch, 1-1/8 inch, and 1-1/4 inch, either individually or as a boxed set.
