I am not impressed with it's ability on rough surfaces. I have positive memories of these in previous decades. Whether it's a fault of the regulative environment, or a Chinese vendor ignoring the blueprint and daring you to scrap the shipment (and finding another Chinese vendor), I have no idea. The ball seems ridiculously small, for something that became the defacto standard for recycling yard auto parts marking.
I am hearing good things about the Milwaukee markers; not the same, I know. I do know the current Markall ball paint marker is a disappointment.
