Advantages
Cutter Change Without Screws
The wedge-lock system clamps the cutter mechanically, so tool changes in the field need no screws undone and downtime is shorter.
Three Outside Angles
30°, 37.5° and 45° pair into 60°, 75° and 90° V grooves, and the angle is picked from the welding procedure.
Root Prepared Inside
The 30° and 45° inside blades prepare the root on the bore and work with the outside blade where heavy wall needs both sides.
A Double-Sided Insert
The facing insert is turned when one edge dulls, so consumable cost divides across two cutting edges.

A wedge-lock system clamps the cutter mechanically with a wedge, so cutters change without undoing screws — which is time saved on every tool change in the field. The eight lines here spread across three operations. Outside bevelling blades come at 30°, 37.5° and 45°, pairing into 60°, 75° and 90° V grooves respectively. The lower angle holds weld volume down on heavy wall while the higher one eases electrode access, and the choice follows the groove angle in the welding procedure. Inside bevelling blades exist at 30° and 45° for preparing the root on the pipe bore; on heavy-wall lines that need preparation from both sides they work alongside the outside blade. On the facing side there are two different constructions: K20010 is facing tooling and 11515 is a double-sided facing insert, which is turned when one edge dulls so that each insert yields two cutting edges. Seven of the lines sit in the carbon steel group, while UTX11413 is a TiCN-coated stainless facing blade that covers the stainless work.
