GBC PIPE 4 — Blades & Consumables
Stainless saw blades for the GBC PIPE 4 pipe cutter. The two lines split by wall thickness: 1–3.5 mm for thin wall and 3.5–6.5 mm for medium wall pipe.

Advantages
Chosen By Wall
The blade follows wall thickness, not pipe diameter. The 1–3.5 mm and 3.5–6.5 mm ranges make that split explicit.
Specified For Stainless
Both blades are defined for stainless pipe, so the sticking that comes from cutting stainless with a carbon-steel blade is designed out.
Gullet Against Chip
The thick-wall blade's larger gullet clears the chip, while the thin-wall blade's finer pitch stops the wall snagging a tooth.
A Weld-Ready Edge
Cut inside its range, the pipe end stays clean and needs less grinding before the weld.

Features
- Made for the GBC PIPE 4 pipe cutting machine
- Thin-wall blade for 1–3.5 mm wall thickness
- Medium-wall blade for 3.5–6.5 mm wall thickness
- Both blades are specified for stainless steel pipe
- Tooth pitch is split by wall thickness, not diameter
- Within range the cut face stays fit to weld
What decides a saw blade is not pipe diameter but wall thickness, because that sets how many teeth are in the cut at any moment — and that number governs both cut quality and blade life. The GBC PIPE 4 blades are therefore split into two ranges. The 1–3.5 mm blade is for thin wall: at that thickness a finer pitch stops the wall dropping into the gullet and chattering. The 3.5–6.5 mm blade is for medium wall, where a larger gullet clears the chip a thicker section produces and keeps the tooth from overloading. Going outside the range causes trouble in both directions: running the thin-wall blade on a 6 mm wall overloads the teeth, while running the thick-wall blade on a 1.5 mm wall lets teeth snag and damages the edge. Both blades are made for stainless, so the sticking and work-hardening behaviour that shows up when a carbon-steel blade meets stainless pipe has been designed out. Pick the right range and the cut face stays fit to weld, with less follow-up grinding.
