On a hand-held beveller the depth of cut is set by the guide bearing, not by how hard the operator pushes. The bearing rests on the workpiece surface and mechanically limits how far the cutter head enters the material, which is why a bearing that does not match the cutter produces a bevel that is either short or too deep. The range is split by cutter size: XX-06 serves 6 mm cutters, XX-12-C serves 12 mm cutters, XX-08R-C is for 8 mm radius cutters and XX-08B-C for 8 mm + R5 bevel cutters, while XX-R6R8-12-C covers R6 and R8 radius cutters. The bearing is also a wear part. Once its race develops play, the bevel face shows chatter marks and uneven depth — a separate fault from a dull cutting edge, and one that is cured by replacing the bearing. Adapters belong to the same range. The Gerima SMA-30E (29 mm) and SMA-30P (31 mm) adapters let Beveltools heads run on Gerima bodies, and the large Gerima adapter does the same for a larger mounting. On the Mini Mite™ side, the optional TEBI 4.0 adapter allows 4 mm cutters to be used. The Bevel Mate EBA-12 / ABA-12 guide completes the range.
