MORE INFO
Saw It Pneumatic Reciprocating Saw, provides power and reciprocating motion to the blades. With Power Hack Saw Blades (sold separately), this saw can cut steel and stainless steel pipes, as well as plastic pipes like C900 and PE. The SAWITSD2 operates pneumatically and features a powerful 2 HP motor with adjustable exhaust air directing. The Saw It is comfortable to pivot and operate, easy to start, and runs smoothly. As a safety feature, the trigger lock prevents accidental operation of the saw if the trigger is inadvertently pressed or bumped. The Saw It requires 6” clearance around the pipe for blade movement. Site preparation requires less excavation than some cutting tools. This air-powered tool eliminates the risk of electrical shock. Unlike gas-powered tools, it produces no fumes. Working in challenging environments such as ditches with water is not a problem, as it is with electric or gas-powered tools.
Saw It needs a mount to hold it in place, and the suggested Saw It Came (sold separately), provides stability and safety during cutting. Optional Knife Guides, helps guide the saw. Maximum capacity depends on the blade and blade guide used. The Saw It pneumatic reciprocating saw, when used with the Saw It Vise and a 12” chain extension, can cut pipes up to 24” in diameter. Recommended SAWITBG30 knife guide It can cut pipes 20” (500 mm) in diameter. Pneumatic saws carry less risk of igniting materials than gas-powered or some electric saws. However, Saw It is not recommended for gas lines.
