GBC UK offers inflatable plugs in a variety of shapes and sizes to suit all applications.
Made of natural rubber bladder coated with waterproof polyurethane-coated nylon to prevent friction and static electricity build-up.
6 different types are available:
Cylindrical – These are generally used to close pipes where access is restricted.
Global – These stoppers have less surface area contact than cylindrical stoppers and are best suited for applications where access is even more limited. Due to their shape, spherical inflatable stoppers can be used at any angle.
3) Square / Rectangle – These stops have various applications, including air conditioning ducts and ventilation.
4) Ring – These stoppers require minimal space and are perfectly suited for larger diameter pipes due to less inflation required.
Sausage The design of this type provides a larger contact area between the stopper and the pipe wall, allowing these stoppers to hold more pressure.
Heat Resistant – These stops are made from a Kevlar and Nomex blend material specially designed to withstand temperatures up to 500°C for applications involving higher temperatures, such as preheating.
Each inflatable stopper comes with an inflation hose equipped with a Schrader valve that makes inflation possible with a standard air, bicycle, or foot pump
